Abstract

The intention of this article is to analyze, through the study of religious chants both Catholic and Evangelic, the place health has, in its search as well as how it is obtained. Testimonies of health recovery and the telling of religious promises are studied. It is concluded that good health in both religious traditions takes place within a cultural environment marked by the presence of strong emotional and ritualistic components.
