Abstract

This article is intended to suggest some ideas to characterize the current dynamics of Andean culture. Within this contextstands out the fragmentation process affecting this culture and how oral tradition plays a key role as a cornerstone of a world Weltansehauung. As part of his hypothesis, the author holds that oral tradition can be the basis foran educational developmentstrategy based upon its potential within a more liberating dimension.
