Abstract

This paper presents advances in research concerning the meaning that Aymara men and women lend to ‘the feminine’ and ‘the masculine’. This paper explores the altiplanic conscience of the inhabitants of the first region of Chile in order to learn the Aymara ideas in regard to sexual differences and the different modes of manifesting gender symbols.
