The present article, related to Santa María School events in Iquique, deals with the attempt by those responsible for them to convert the massacre into a fictitious event In addition, it analyses the work of Andrés Sabella, Volodia Teiteilboim y Sergio Arrau among others who pay homage in their work to the martyrs of December 21 th. of 1907.
